From the moment I pulled into the service area until I drove away, I had the best experience. I'm not positive if the gentleman who helped me is named Chris, but he was so i formative, kind, and respectful. He helped me make better decisions on my service needs and wants by taking his time and providing me with information so that I felt confident. He introduced me to the life size monitors and navigated it with ease which I was very impressed by what was captured from the scan and also everything else that system could do. I was given an estimate on time and cost and also was physically shown my filters so I could make a decision if I felt they should be replaced or not. From all the interaction and the nice waiting area, I can say the experience and treatment was absolutely excellent!! I would recommend Sir Walter to all.

I had a 230 appt for an oil change…. But didn’t have the car serviced until 430….. So why did I make an “appt” to be seen 2 hrs later?????? I can go to valveline and be done much sooner… Just be up front with customers …that it’s not an appt per se…. It’s a “get in line “ time slot …. And “Good luck””….hope to have you out by midnight!!….my bottom line was 2 1/2 hrs for an oil change….UNSAT

This is the first time my wife or I have ever owned a Chevrolet Vehicle. Our previous vehicles in the past were VW, Honda, Tesla and Mercedes. The 2025 Tahoe refresh is a unbelievable truck. When we shopped for the Tahoe, we looked at 5 other Chevrolet dealers across North Carolina and South Carolina, all within 2.5 hours away from Raleigh. We chose Sir Walter Raleigh because they were very transparent with there pricing out the gate to me. Sir Walter did not included unnecessary dealer accessory markups and had a lifetime Powertrain Warranty vs. others but also had an amazing Sales Contact (William Delong) who we worked with. Most of my communications were done via text to conserve time and some face to face showroom time. William went ABOVE and beyond to earn our trust, had professional communication, extremely friendly, and also helped with teaching us how to work the vehicle controls and App setup. I dealt over the span of weeks with many Sales consultants (even at Mercedes), and William was literally hands down the best. The Sir Walter Finance Manager was also a breathe of FRESH air and very easy to work, no pressure to sign paperwork (thanks Manny). Sir Walter FURTHER exceeded our buying experience after I saw a customized Chevy Tahoe with custom Wheels put on a Tahoe vehicle at another Chevy dealer. I asked if Sir Walter if they could customize our new RST Tahoe purchase and match what I saw. I was blown away with how accommodating and QUICKLY William worked with the parts department to make arrangements for our new vehicle to receive and install the different Rims swapped on the truck before pickup! When we drove off the lot, My wife and I both agreed this was the best car buying experience we had ever had. I will only recommend Sir Walter Chevrolet to my friends, neighbors, coworkers and family moving forward. Thank you Sir Walter for making it such a memorable experience joining the Chevrolet family with our new truck!

The service team did a great job. However, it was incredibly frustrating that my brand-new 2025 Traverse RS needed a major repair after only one day of ownership. The master brake cylinder had to be replaced. GM needs to do a better job of quality-checking vehicles coming off the line. This was a known issue in the 2024 model, so I don't understand how it is still happening in the 2025 models.

Couldn’t be happier with the purchase of my new 2025 Chevrolet Silverado EV RST. The 2 person Team Wyatt and Isaiah that assisted me with my purchase along with Desiree and her knowledge on extended warranties as well as financing was one of the better experiences I’ve had during the purchase of a vehicle. They all came together obtaining and bringing knowledge together to help me understand the ins and outs of the Silverado EV. After the purchase the following day they continued to support me with acquiring the converting adapters needed for charging using a Tesla Supercharger and Tesla home charger. They really have stuck with me through the entire process. Having just recently made a different purchase with an another dealership it was a completely different experience. These employees that I dealt with gave no support. Failed to maintain any type of contact and never followed up with me after the purchase. It was all I could do to get them on the phone after waiting on hold numerous times only to be disconnected and having to start over again to reach sales and customer service. I can’t emphasize enough how much I recommend these 3. I feel a sense of closeness having gone through this experience with them and hope others will experience this as well. My wife and I purchased a new vehicle. The Salesperson was not able to talk about the vehiele or its features. After singing all the paperwork we walked out and our salesperson stood there. No "congratulations" or "thank you for your business." He stood there with his hands behind his back and we walked out. Same with the finance person, there was no "congrats" or "thanks." We have 4 vehicles, 2 of which are quite old, multiple kids, etc. We will be looking to replace our two older vehicles soon and I would have expected a salesperson at a dealership to do their best to get a return customer. Unfortunately, the dealership or the salesperson, did neither. The pickup was even worse. My salesperson ended up being out (did not let me know). A different person gave us the keys. He did not take any time to go over the vehicle or its features. Just an overall disappointing experience.

i received a message to provide feedback via text but did not receive a response. Overall, I am not happy with my service. I was charged an extraneous fee that was not well explained to me up front. When I asked about this "shop fee" I was told it was explained since there is a posted placard. There was no additional work done on my car other than an oil change and a diagnostic service and so I remain unsure what this fee was for and why it was not included on the virtual menu of charges I was shown up front. I had a diagnostic service and did not feel that the service representative adequately explained what the issue was and how it related to the esc light that was coming on. I did not have an opportunity at all to discuss with technician and did not receive a response when I asked if my husband could discuss with them at the number provided. They were not able to replicate my issue but I was charged $180. The service representative seemed more interested in selling me additional services as opposed to helping with the original issue that I came in for. I would not return and would not recommend to others.

I brought my truck in because the check engine light was on and was told they couldn’t find anything wrong, even though they found and code for the mass air flow sensor. I was told they had cleared the light and test drove the truck. I informed the writer I couldn’t pick the truck up for several days and maybe they could drive the truck again. This was not done and in fact when I picked the truck up according to the mileage that was on the repair order it had only been driven 1 mile. I picked the truck up and guess what only after driving a few miles the light came back on. I returned to the dealership and was told I need to sign a new authorization because the old one had been closed out. This was not the truth because once I signed the new one a few minutes later I received and email with the old one with a time stamp after the 2nd one had been signed. I am not a few happy customer.

Dave was extremely helpful and efficient during the entire process. The only negative comment is the detail of the truck. Sales should not get dinged for poor workmanship by the Detail Area. But someone should know there was a razor left in the console in the phone charger location; I gave it to Dave while he was going over the features. He actually had to use it to get something off that the detailer(s) missed. The back glass still had sticker residue on the cab middle window....took me forever to get it to come off. Just thinking, you want to come home and show off your new ride, not have to clean if first. But the experience was great otherwise.

Staff was nice but not receiving both the KEY FOB for new car is not a good experience. Dealership has lost the Key Fob, and I will have to visit the dealership later to get it, and Im sure it will be another 3-4 hours of wait time there. Plus, there was no charger (even level 1) with the car, which shows GM as a brand has tried to cut the corner. I have to spend another $620 to buy (dual level cord) which I think is severely overpriced.

Well I was not happy about the process after taking the car in several times claiming that I didn't keep my brakes fixed when in fact I had just had my brakes done completely 2.5 months ago and my alignment done 2 weeks before I kept having to bring it in multiple times but finally they contacted the manufacturer to seek help about my 22 Chevy Trax it turned out that discovered that it was a seal in the master cylinder that had caused all the problems I brought it in 7 months prior address these issues with them and things got worse I ended up having to spend right at 800.00 there even though my deductible was only 100.00 I spent another 780.00 when I had to have emergency brakes replaced pads, rotors, shoes, the total works. It seems like the master cylinder caused my brakes to actually lock up the system and not release and caused the problem to the rest of the issues luckily I had the best extended warranty there should not have been any of these issues with the car if they had just address the problem 7 months prior as I asked them to they didn't say they were sorry nor did they return anything I had paid them in the first place 😕

You guys wasted a lot of my time going over my car with a fine tooth comb trying to squeeze hundreds of dollars out of me for services I did not need. I called my usual mechanic who confirmed to me that what you were trying to sell me was a scam. I hate coming here for things but I foolishly bought the package that includes tires and oil changes. My google assistant quit working. My service team advisor looked at it and determined that Onstar was not working. Since it needed to diagnosed, I had to leave the car. Matt provided transportation for me. It was determined that a part was needed and had to be ordered so it was in the shop for 5 days. When I picked up my car, Mat brought the car around, and verified that the google assistant and onstar were working again and offered to assist with any questions I had.

I have had intermittent electrical problems. Troubleshooting is tricky, and is largely trial and error. I was able to leave the truck there for 3 days while they worked to understand where the issue might be. In the end they DID find a loose connector that would explain the symptoms and now I am hoping that we have found the problem. It's been three days now, and so far so good! I really liked the SMS text message updates and communications back and forth with the service tech who was in close comms with the troubleshooting tech who took the time to find the issue.

There was no pressure to make the purchase and when I did, there was an issue with the new vehicle. We liked our purchase experience. Dave Mehan was well informed and was able to answer any small questions we had. Most importantly, he showed us 5 different cars that we were particularly interested in. He made sure we are well treated with respect and did not hesitate to show the same thing again or answer the same questions again. This helped us make the decision with full information. Opportunity for improvement: We had to wait for over an 1.5 hrs to do the final signatures. But the finance person was very polite and kind to apologize and explained the delay was largely due to a technical issues they had. After reviewing the plan details, I realized that several items I believed were covered — such as battery replacement, alignments, and diagnostics — are only included if there’s a mechanical breakdown, rather than as part of normal maintenance. While the dealership service and sales managers were very nice Corporate is not supporting them or the customer. I have new Equinox EV 40k plus car, and their is HUGE problem with glare that is major safety risk and Chevy response was to create a carpet like fix to lay on dash, very tacky solution. Additionally they cannot even get the part and have no ETA, at all. Secondly have had major connectivity issues and telematics On star module bad. So no navigation, nor connection for music etc. Again Chevy no parts, no ETA. I told them my problems weeks before my appt, waited till appt to Be told yes we need to order and OH we can’t get and no ETA we will call when in. But NO Timeline. After owning Nissan and Tesla EV went to Chevy, was very happy, but no my 40k plus car has two major issues and no parts To fix in sight. As well as a half baked solution for safety glare issue. This isn’t a can in the 60’s. Chevy needs to step up and resolve correctly or they will Loose customer. I also just told my daughter to purchase I’m sorry she did she is having same glare Issues.

Salesman David Weaver gets 5 stars from me. He was personable, knowledge and extremely helpful in my decision to buy my 2026 RS Equinox. I was very disappointed with my finance officer, I have an excellent score of 835, a large bank and saving account as well as putting down$15000 towards my purchase however he wanted me to sign my loan prior to learning my interest rate. I had to ask which was over 7%, I was unhappy with that and stated I would not purchase the vehicle. While I was on the phone with my bank to get a better interest rate, he left the room. When he came back he told me he could offer my 2,9 % interest for 48 months which I accepted. He did not mention the Red Tag sale option with 0% nor the terms which I would have qualified for. I saw an ad about the Red Tag sale a day after I brought the vehicle and called the finance office. I was informed I was too late to make any changes. The finance end of this deal was an extremely bad experience for me, My 4 star rating was solely due to my salesman experience.

The service rep was great, in handing a bad situation from Chevy. Glare issue on windshield, took 3 months to get part Chevy developed to handle this safety issue. Which is a piece of material to lay over the dash and attach with 10 different pieces of Velcro. Putting glued Velcro on your dash which will bake in sun and heat a damage the dash. This is NOT a good solution, this is material with a material backing that slides around if it attached. Chevy should step up and replace the small dash piece that causes the serious glare issue, under a recall. Instead they spent probably $1.00 to fabricate a double sided piece of fabric with Velcro tabs.

Brendan was a very good salesman. Highly recommended! Everything pretty much was done online. The unexpected hiccup was on day of pickup. A one hour estimated process turned into 3 hrs. No fault of Brendan but lack of streamlining the closing process. Few others hiccups occurred but were handled and compensated to me accordingly. Overall, mostly positive and would recommend to anyone. Ask for Brendan if possible. 4.8 rating overall.

Service advisor was awesome. I’m having issues with grease/oil left all over the seats, steering wheel and doors. The left front fender had a scratch on it from the last service and grease all over the paint/ceramic coating. Service advisors have pictures and cleaned the grease off the seats each time. My detail expense has been $100.00 to remove the grease from the fender.
