Sir Walter Chevrolet Company is happy to be a part of the community in Raleigh! Since 1928, Sir Walter Chevrolet Company and it’s now 4th generation of ownership has called Raleigh home and there is nothing we love more than giving back to the community which has supported us for nearly a century. Midtown Music Fest is an all-day art and music festival that welcomes the Spring season, and marks the return of outdoor music to the beautiful lawn at Coastal Credit Union Midtown Park in North Hills.This festival features a mix of original music and fan favorite covers from both nationally and locally-known artists, local craft beer & beverages, food trucks, hip hop dancers, flame throwers, stilt walkers, custom LED teepees, flower crowns, and a vendor village.
The Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Celebration, located in the Commons of North Hills, is a beloved holiday event. Tree Lighting event features snow slopes, trackless train rides, kids crafts and activities, a bounce house, and a vendor village. As Santa Claus arrives at 6pm in his red ‘Chevro-Sleigh’, the 41 foot Christmas Tree is lit amidst a joyous chorus of “Santa Clause Is Coming to Town.” Event is FREE to the public. https://www.visitnorthhills.com/events/tree-lighting-celebration
PAST EVENTS
Join us on Saturday May 21st 2016 from 3-9 PM for a celebration of North Carolina and the South in Midtown Park. The Kickin’ It Country event will include three bands from Nashville, a North Carolina Pork Council (NCPC) sanctioned BBQ cook-off, kids activities, local breweries and vendors from around the Raleigh area. Visit us at the Sir Walter Chevy tent for awesome give-aways, free test drives, and other fun! Proceeds from the event will benefit the Jim ‘Catfish’ Hunter Chapter of the ALS Association and Adventurers for Special Needs.
Join us at Sir Walter Chevrolet Company for the 2nd annual 919 Music Fest on Sunday May 22nd from Noon to 6 PM – featuring a host of live music, a kid zone, numerous local food trucks, local breweries, and plenty of fun. We are expecting a huge crowd – 5,000 people – so get there early and carve out your spot for a great day of fun of games for the whole family. NORTH HILLS PRESENTS NATIONAL NIGHT OUT SPONSORED BY SIR WALTER CHEVROLET
Come join us at North Hills’ Midtown Park for National Night Out on August 2nd from 6 – 8 PM. This is an opportunity for communities nationwide to promote police-community partnerships, crime prevention, safety awareness, and neighborhood camaraderie. Join us for a night of free and fun family activities and chance to meet our local law and safety enforcement heroes!
Gigi’s Cupcake Run will be held at Brier Creek Commons in Raleigh. $5 from every registration will go directly to Make A Wish Eastern NC. Every participant will receive a race shirt, Finisher’s medal and a Gigi’s cupcake as they cross the finish line. Look for the Sir Walter Chevrolet Company provided Camaro Pace Car as it leads the runners from the starting line to the checkered finish!
