The first service should be Maintenance I, within 10 months of vehicle purchase, or when "change engine oil" light comes on. Alternate between I & II thereafter. Depending on driving habits, Maintenance II may be required more often.

Maintenance I - $39.95

Change Engine Oil and Filter, up to 5 quarts
Reset Oil Life System
(See “Engine Oil,” an Emission Control Service)
Visually check for any leaks or damage
Inspect engine air cleaner filter and replace if necessary
Rotate and inspect tires
Check tire inflation pressures and wear
Inspect brake system, including brake lines, hoses, pads, calipers, wheel cylinders, rotors and drums
Check engine coolant
Check windshield washer fluid
Inspect all lights for proper operation
Trucks: Lubricate front suspension, ball joints, steering linkage, and parking brake caliper.

Maintenance II - $59.95

All services included in Maintenance I, above
Inspect radiator and heater hoses for cracks, swelling, or deterioration
Lubricate suspension, steering linkage and transaxle shaft linkage
Inspect drive axle boots for damage, tears or leakage
Inspect wiper blades for wear or cracking
Inspect safety belts, buckles, latch plates, retractors, anchorages and safety belt reminder light for damage or loose parts
Lubricate key lock cylinders and hood, door and trunk hinges and latches
Inspect throttle linkage
Inspect steering system and suspension for damage or loose or missing parts
Inspect power steering lines & hoses for leaks or damage
Inspect passenger compartment air filter and replace if necessary
Inspect brake - transaxle shift interlock for correct operation
Inspect starter safety switch and steering column lock for correct operation
Inspect fuel system for damage or leaks
Inspect brake system for loose or damaged components
Trucks: Check transmission fluid level
Trucks without a filter restriction indicator: Inspect engine air cleaner filter

Additional recommended services and costs, resulting from inspections performed, will be brought to your attention. It is important to check your engine oil regularly and keep it at the proper level. Failure to maintain proper oil level can result in expensive engine repairs not covered by the vehicle warranty.
